It’s just been one of those days

Thank you Lord it is Friday…only because tomorrow is Saturday!  It has just been a very Grrr! Blah! day.  Our power went out at 9:30 this morning so that meant no tv, no music for Abbi to nap to, no computer, and no air conditioning!  All because some tool crashed into the entrance of our subdivision, taking out a tree, fence, and power line.  The weather itself is just dreary…hazzy and on the verge or raining any minute now.  And Abbi, oh my little Abigail!  She’s just been in one of those “you can’t please me no matter what you do” moods.  I’m not sure if it’s her top tooth coming in or if she just didn’t get a good night’s sleep last night or if she’s feeding off of my mood, but she’s on the verge of driving me crazy!  She’s been doing this non-stop droaning noise that just makes you want to rip your hair out one strand at a time.  I don’t mind her babbling….I actually enjoy listening to her jibber jabber (when it’s in a tolerable tone), but when it’s this constant, loud “ahhhhhhhh”, well it’s just not enjoyable!  Oh, and I bruised my heel somehow this morning.

So, that is all my complaints for the time being.  On a happy note, we got the proofs from the photos that were taken of Abbi while we were in Alaska.  They are very cool!  I wish I could post them so you could see them but they are in this little binder thing.  Anyhow, they are cool!  And it’s been a fun week because I got lots of packages….I love getting packages in the mail!  I ordered some stuff on the internet so lots of fun deliveries each day!  I justified the purchases with the fact that I’ve sold a bunch of stuff on Ebay the last two weeks.  And now my addiction to Ebay has reared it’s ugly head.  I find myself looking around the house trying to find more stuff to sell.  I’ve given it a thought once or twice about selling the cats but I think Ebay has a rule about selling living things.  Oh well!

And that has been my week/day!  My saving grace….I have an appointment for tomorrow morning at the spa for a wrap and massage!   That will be 2.5 child-free hours of pampering!  Mmmmmm, a little slice of heaven right here on earth!
