Dark chocolate, please

This entire week I have been in a mood where I want everything smoothered in chocolate. I’m not sure exactly why. It could be the fact that due to my dental stuff earlier this week I’m not allowed to really eat anything that is not super soft or in liquid form. You really don’t realize how limited that menu becomes until you’re hungry and tired of eating soup. Tonight I decided to eat pizza and now my jaw is throbbing. Oh the pain we will endure for moments of bliss. And I thought this “restricted diet” thing would help me loose some weight but not so my friends. I feel like everything that I can (and want to) eat is adding up to the same number of calories, if not more, than before. So I’m about ready to just melt a bowl of chocolate chips and scoop away!

In other news, I heard the other day that Rosie O’Donnell is being considered as the new host for The Price Is Right. Has anyone else heard this? Is there any truth behind it? I’m not really sure how I feel about it if it were true. I mean really, can anyone really replace Bob Barker? I’m surprised that they don’t just take the show off the air because Bob Barker is that show. It would be like replacing Bill Cosby as Mr. Huxtable on The Cosby Show. It just doesn’t seem right. I remember watching TPIR every time I would go over to my grandma’s as a kid (which was a lot).

So, would Rosie do as good of a job as anyone else? I’m not sure. She has a lot of energy so she would totally eat up the spastic people as they get called up on stage. I was disappointed to see what she did on The View. I felt as though she used the show as her personal platform to make everything a gay issue and to express her hatred toward the United States. Now I’m sure that this will not be the case with TPIR because, after all, it is just a game show and not an opinion-oriented talk show. My solution: take TPIR off the air (which would be sad, I’ll admit) and bring back American Gladiators!
