The blurring of the seasons

It is October.  We should be enjoying pumpkins, hay rides, apple cider, wearing jeans and sweatshirts.  Instead, it is 85 degrees and we have the air conditioning running.  It is so bizarre.  However, that did not stop us from partaking in the Pumpkinfest events this year.  I love small town stuff.  Today Tara and I pushed through the heat and took Jake and Abbi downtown to the arts and crafts (where I bought this really cute crayon & paper holder for the diaper bag) and to see the baby animals.  We took Abbi last year but she was still too young to really care about anything.  This year though, she loved seeing all the pumpkins (she’s obsessed with pumpkins thanks to the Dora pumpkin that Aunt Tara bought for her) and she got right in there and played with the baby animals.

In other news, this was a totally sucky week for me.  Monday and Tuesday were good but then Wednesday came along.  I woke up Wednesday morning with that lovely dizziness that I’ve had in the past.  Couple that with the nausea of pregnancy and the never-ending energy of a toddler, well it made for a long few days.  The dizziness partially subsided on Thursday and is 95% gone today.  Yes, I should probably go to the doctor and get tests run but I really don’t want to do all those tests when pregnant.  What to do, what to do.
