Finally, a light

My house continues to be sick. Abbi gets small bursts of energy here and there but she’s still pretty tired and cranky. Oh and did I mention that her top two molars are both coming in? Yeah, fun times. Tim is feeling a little better and went in to work for a few hours today. Me? Well, the coughing has started so I’m sure I’ll be down all weekend. We also got some really crappy weather (high winds, really cold, and freezing rain/snow) last night. I’ll spare you the details of how I got about 3 hours of sleep last night due to uncomfortableness (pregnancy), the wind slapping stuff around in a our garage, and a certain toddler waking up at 3:45am, crawling into bed with us and persisting to kick me and randomly ask for a snack bowl and cartoons for the next 3.5 hours. There, aren’t you glad I spared you those details?

On a much happier note….I met with a new OB today to discuss the possibility of me having a VBAC. Woo Hoo! She’s totally fine with me doing a VBAC (although she thinks I’m a little crazy for wanting it). So, 10 weeks shy of my due date and I’m switching OBs. I’m totally fine with switching doctors because I’m not all that attached to my current OB. Don’t get me wrong, I like him and the entire office, but it’s not like I see him when I do have an appointment scheduled with him (he’s usually out delivering babies).

Of course there is still a chance I will end up in C-section yet again but it’s better than someone telling me I don’t have a choice in the matter. At least this office is willing to let me try. That is super exciting for me.
