Not so cute anymore

The baby is officially running out of room these days. Her cute little kicks and squirms are not uncomfortable and sometimes painful. Since she is head down now, when she tries to stretch out her head pushes on my bladder causing me to come very close to peeing my pants. She also likes to stretch out her legs, pushing them against the left side of my abdomen and pushing her butt against the right side of my abdomen. This girl has some serious power when she wants to move. That is all tolerable for a while yet, especially since we really don’t want her to make her way into this world until after Tim’s big project is done at work.

The really annoying part right now is the constant occurrance of hiccups. Oh, not me having the hiccups. The baby gets the hiccups all the time now. DRIVES ME CRAZY! Yes, they were cute the first 75 times she got them but now she gets them multiple times a day. They usually last for 15 – 20 minutes at a time. It is like having muscle twitch for 20 minutes 5 or 6 times a day! You know, that annoying twitch your eye does every once in a while? It’s like that but it’s my entire mid-section twitching. I’m trying to enjoy it all because I know this is the last time I’ll be experiencing it, but seriously? Does she need to get the hiccups at 3am and then again at 7am? Does she forget that I’m already up every few hours to pee throughout the night? Do I really need to be woken up by a hiccuping baby in my belly?
