Treat

Although we dressed Abbi up in a costume last Halloween we really didn’t do the trick-or-treating thing due to the rain. We ended up taking her to a church for their Fall Festival. It was fun but it was no trick-or-treating. This year we had beautiful weather! It was a perfect night for trick-or-treating!

Abbi was pretty pumped about the whole idea of getting candy. She doesn’t really ever get candy so this was so huge in her eyes! We met up with Tim’s brother and his girls at Tim’s parent’s house and walked around their neighborhood together. Abbi thought it was great to run from door to door with Trinity and Bethany. And it was so nice to have the older girls show Abbi the ropes.

We only had about an hour of trick-or-treating so Abbi really didn’t get much candy but nonetheless she was so elated with what was in her Hello Kitty bucket. She even gave Tim and I each a piece of candy on the way home. Here I thought we would have to sneak some while she was sleeping. She never ceases to amaze me.
