Memory #21 – age 20 yrs
My husband would probably say that this was the year when my life truly began. Yes, it was the year that I met and started dating him. On a whim I joined the college cheerleading team and Tim, who I had seen on campus a few years ago, had come back to help out with the team (yes, he had been a cheerleader, too). After hanging out one night watching 90210, he decided to ask me out on a date. He showed up at my house driving a red Camero, which I thought he had borrowed from a friend since I had only seen him drive a green Escort. It ended up being his.
We ended up hanging out quite often and, a few months later, he told me he loved me. Awww.
My life changed in more ways than just the relationship department. It was this year that I decided I wouldn’t pursue medicine. I had always wanted to be a doctor but, with my shaking getting worse, it just didn’t seem like a feasible option. My hands have a constant shake to them. Very annoying. So I decided to double major in Biology and Psychology to give myself more career options.
