Colleen — You can totally be my next test case on this theory! You have to report back and let me know what baby #3′s temperament is like! For your sake I hope my theory is wrong and your #3 is a super content sleeper! If not, invest in a wrap or baby carrier!!!

Katie — that is hilarious! And so interesting that he was calmed by the sound of kids. I would be spending all my time at the mall play area or just beg a teacher to let me sit in their classroom!

Ok here is a possible invention to solve this problem … you know those Roomba vacuums that supposedly move around your house and vacuum while you sit on the couch eating bonbons? Maybe we need to crate the babyba? It can do the same thing, but with a baby all safely secured to the top of it enjoying the movement and you can get something done in the meantime. Did I mention that it would still double as a vacuum?

Yes, Baby J is COMPLETELY different than Big Brother C. I’m blown away…we were so spoiled with #1, waiting 5 years to have #2 and now have had a huge S-L-A-P in the face with the reality that what we experienced the first time around is not always the case! enjoy

I was teaching 2nd grade while pregnany with Gavin. He was a very content baby, but crazy enough when he was really wound up/upset the sound of children’s voices was what would calm him!

Uh, oh! We’re at 38 weeks with #3 and this is one of my big fears! Not much rest with two non-nappers under age 5 running around. We’ll see what his or her temperament will be like very soon!
