100 Toyotas + 100 Days = Lives Changed

I spent four years working for a non-profit. It was probably one of the most challenging jobs and I give those who continue to work in non-profits the utmost respect.

There is always a need. Financial. Equipment. Office supplies. Vehicles. Materials. There was always something. And, in addition to trying to meet those needs, then you needed to do the actual non-profit work. Again, it’s a lot of work!

That is why I was so excited to learn about Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good, a program where Toyota is giving away 100 vehicles to non-profits across the country!

Each day, for 100 days, five non-profit organizations will have the chance to win the Toyota of their choice. How do they win? Easy! People simply log on to 100 Cars for Good on Facebook and cast their vote. The non-profit with the highest number of votes that day wins their Toyota.

The non-profit organizations range from animal clinics to centers for disabled veterans. Conservation and recycling to helping abuse victims, those living with HIV/AIDS, and shut-ins.

Here’s a great little video about the program:

Now, there’s really no reason for you not to vote. Because all it takes is a ‘click’. I know you’re on Facebook. At least once per day! So, the next time you click ‘like’ on your friend’s status about how all their kids are napping {at the same time!} or before you share the latest clever e-card, remember that you can just as easily head over to the 100 Cards for Good and change some lives!

I was selected for participation in the TWIN community through a program with Clever Girls Collective. I did not receive any compensation for writing this post, or payment in exchange for participating. The opinions expressed herein are mine, and do not reflect the views of Toyota.
