Back to School Shopping Guide

Yesterday I was lamenting on how I was not ready to say goodbye to Summer. Today, we’re looking ahead at Back To School shopping. Such is life when you have 2 girls heading back to school — one going all day, every day for the first time and the other one going to a new school. YIKES!

And, since the school year is starting whether I like it or not, I mine as well embrace it and stay as organized and on-top of things as I can!

Here are the three major areas I focus on when Back To School shopping — Clothes for the kids, School Supplies, and ways to simplify all things meal related! I’m talking breakfast, school lunches, and dinner!

That is why I was pretty excited when I saw the ISSUU Back To School Shopping e-Guide!

The Back To School Shopping e-Guide takes you through the different categories of back-to-school shopping — the three I mentioned above, plus Mom’s back-to-school fashion — and shares trends, favorite products, and some great deals!

“Real Mom” experts have compiled this guide from trusted brands like Elmer’s, Tyson, Sear’s Style, and Cookies Kids!

I love that the guide made me actually think about my own fashion for back-to-school. Something I don’t think much {or at all} about when thinking about Back To School. Maybe if I spent a little more time looking at my own fashion this fall, then I wouldn’t be sporting the yoga pants and t-shirts at school drop-off.

Also, since I let the girls purchase one new back-to-school outfit — let’s face it, my girls do not need an entirely new wardrobe for the school year — I was super excited to see special Back To School Guide promotion from Cookie’s Kids! You’ll have to check out the Guide to see the deal!

So, I’d love to hear from you. How do you get ready for Back To School shopping? Do you look through guides? Shopping lists from the school? Shop the sales? Stock up for the year?

  • I’m actually really excited to get started on Back to School shopping although a lot of my school clothes shopping will probably be after school starts. Being that it’s over 100* here we are still in summer clothes!
