Family Fun at Michigan’s Adventure!

Which would you rather do: Ride roller coasters until you lose your voice from screaming and laughing so much OR Spend the day splashing through crazy water slides and floating down a lazy river?

What if you didn’t have to choose?

Earlier this month we had the opportunity to take the kids to the fabulous Michigan’s Adventure, a park that is half amusement park and half water park. And all fun!

What I love about Michigan’s Adventure, at this stage in our life, is that they truly offer something for everyone! Even Talon, at age 2, was all about the amusement park fun. And there were so many rides that all three kids could ride together!

Of course I had to get the girls on a roller coaster or two and Michigan’s Adventure has a great roller coasters for those beginner thrill seekers. Although I could definitely argue that the Zach Zoomer and Mad Mouse could give some of those bigger roller coasters a run for their money! Those little coasters are speedy!!! I’m actually looking forward to next year when the girls are tall enough to do the big coasters!

While we didn’t do the Wildwater Adventure Waterpark this trip, we have done it in years past and it’s a blast! The Beach Party area alone is enough to keep the kids busy {and cool} for hours!

We did have the chance to check out The Family Grill while at the park, something we haven’t done before. It’s a different style of eating as it’s a picnic-style area with picnic tables under pavilions {shade!}. While I’d love to see more variety offered and the service was a bit slow, it’s a nice alternative to eating for families. Much more relaxed for families with little kids!

The best part about Michigan’s Adventure, aside from being so close for us, is that you get both great parks for just one low price! For just $29 you get an entire day of fun and can come and go between the two park (which are connected) as much as you like. Yes, there are some additional costs — food, parking ($10), lockers, the Rip Cord!

If you’re looking for a fun time for the family this Summer, check out Michigan’s Adventure! It was an absolutely amazing way to kick off our Summer! Oh, and check them out on Facebook for fun deals and promos throughout the Summer!

I was given park passes and meal vouchers for the family to Michigan’s Adventure. All opinions are my own.
